featured cocktails: summer 2013

Vodka, gin and tequila can make some deliciously light, summery cocktails. Clear liquors mix well with fruit and herbal flavors to create cool, refreshing beverages, the perfect accompaniment to an evening on the porch or by the pool. 
At your next gathering, why not offer one of these tasty summer creations? Just remember to enjoy responsibly!
Grey Goose L’Orange Summer Tea

Ingredients:
GREY GOOSE® L’Orange -1 ½ Parts
Iced Tea – 3 Parts
Simple Syrup – ¼Parts
Mint Leaves – 4
Preparation:
In the bottom of a shaker, muddle mint leaves and simple syrup.
Add remaining ingredients and ice, and shake vigorously.
Pour, ice and all, into a tall glass.
Present with a sprig of mint and an orange slice.
Patrón Mojito

Ingredients: 
1 1/2 oz : Patrón Silver
1 cut lime
1 oz : simple syrup
club soda
6-8 : fresh mint leaves
lime wedge for garnish
Preparation:
In a tall glass, muddle mint leaves, lime, and simple syrup. Add a cup of ice and Patrón Silver, and top with club soda. Stir gently.
Garnish with a lime wedge.



Beefeater Gin & Pineapple

Ingredients:

60ml/ 2 parts Beefeater Gin
90ml/ 3 parts pineapple juice
Lime wedge
Preparation:

Glass: Highball or Collins.
Pour all ingredients over cubed ice, stir and squeeze in the juice of a lime wedge. Drop the lime wedge into the glass and serve.
