Smoked Salmon Appetizer

Here is a super easy appetizer to prepare — Smoked Salmon served two ways:  (1) Smoked Salmon with fresh cracked pepper, fresh squeezed lemon juice and capers, and (2) smoked salmon with a slice of boiled egg, salt and pepper. This is the kind of appetizer that usually disappears rather quickly. There’s really nothing to it. Buy a package of smoked salmon, black bread or any thinly sliced crusty bread, a jar of capers, and boil some eggs. Place black bread on the cutting board and butter each slice with sweet, unsalted high-quality butter. Add slices of smoked salmon over the buttered bread, add salt and fresh cracked pepper.  Next cut off of the crust from the bread and cut into little squares. Then alternate the presentation by adding one slice of hard boiled egg to one square of bread; the next one should have three capers running diagonally with a squeeze of fresh lemon over that, and repeat. Super easy!
