Being that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I thought I’d share a creative quest for love that crossed my path this weekend. Having just enjoyed a meal at a local restaurant I was given my change and about to leave a tip when I noticed writing along the edges of a dollar bill.
I was intrigued so naturally I turned the bill over and couldn’t help but laugh aloud.
I had to give this guy credit… he caught my attention. And yet I had to wonder – how many similar bills are out there? Is this an art project? A press stunt? Did anyone call? And most important – did he find what he was looking for?
Naturally my curiosity got the best of me so I dialed the number. Sadly, its disconnected. Maybe he was overwhelmed with too many calls. Perhaps the Feds busted him for defacing US currency. Alas… the romantic in me wants to believe he meet the person of his dreams and is living happily forever after. xoxo
